A Study to Assess The Attitude Regarding Online Learning among B.Sc. Nursing Students at Selected Colleges of Mysuru

Abstract


Objectives: (1) To determine the attitude of B.Sc. nursing students towards online learning; (2) To determine the association between the attitude of B.Sc. nursing students with their selected demographic variables. Methods: A descriptive approach was used 60 B.Sc. nursing students between the age group of 20–22 years were selected using a random sampling technique. The study was done to assess the attitude of B.Sc. nursing students towards online learning. The data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: The mean attitude score of B.Sc. nursing students 132.383 and median is 133.5 and standard deviation is ±11.50. There was a significant association found between the attitude with age, gender, religion, income, previous experience with online learning. Findings of the study reveals that there was a significant association between the attitude with Age, gender, religion, income, previous experience with online learning. The effectiveness of online learning was having positive feedback, so there is no significant relationship between the attitude of B.Sc. nursing students towards online learning and demographic variables.
