A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY TO ASSESS THE NOMOPHOBIA AMONG NURSING COLLEGE STUDENTS OF FARIDKOT, PUNJAB.

Abstract


Nomophobia is fear for mobile phones when not being able to come in contact with them. All humans encounter this daily but very few are aware of this in real, that it can really get them in a serious trouble in their life. Mostly the college goings are very much affected by this because of their curious nature and they want to explore things. Therefore, A descriptive study to assess the nomophobia among nursing college students of Faridkot, Punjab by using non probability convenient sampling technique, the findings of the present study shows that 56% is having severe nomphobia whereas only 24% of the selected sample comes under the classification of mild nomophobia and 20% of the all the study samples are included in mild nomophobia.
