Nomophobia—Leading Addiction

Abstract


Today, smartphones have become an important part of our technoculture, especially among the younger population. Being out of contact with mobile phone is termed as “Nomophobia”—no mobile phobia. It creates various psychological problems such as discomfort, anxiety, nervousness, anguish, etc. Other mental disorders like social phobia or social anxiety and panic disorder may also precipitate.
