Professional Etiquettes during Pandemic

Abstract


The word "etiquette" is equal to the French word "estique", which means to attach. These etiquettes are the requirements of behaviors which are the conventions of the society. These are also known as “the rules indicating the proper and polite way to behave. It creates a professional, mutually respectful atmosphere and improves communication. All over the world, the professionals are permitted to work in safe and healthy environments despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Working with the pandemic, new rules are evolving, that are under review and continuous adaptations, until accessible an effective vaccine. Every professional organization sets its own standards for acceptable professional etiquette practices. There are some standard etiquettes e.g. personnel interactions, language use, dress codes, welcome/hospitality, telephone practice, video and teleconference practices, email etiquette, meeting etiquette, and meal etiquette etc. Most of etiquettes have changed during pandemic. Being a professional, we should think about these changes. It is our duty to maintain the professional etiquettes and provide our service to our clients.
