Assessing the Physical and Psychological Problems of Workers in Cotton Fabric Industry at Nagercoil in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India

Abstract


A study was conducted to assess the physical and psychological problems of workers in the cotton fabric industry at Nagercoil. The following objectives were set for the study:
• To assess the physical problems of workers in the cotton fabric industry
• To assess the psychological problems of workers in the cotton fabric industry
• To correlate the physical and psychological problems of workers in the cotton fabric industry
• To find the association between physical problems and selected demographic variables of workers in the cotton fabric industry
• To find the association between the psychological problems and selected demographic variables of workers in the cotton fabric industry

The study was based on the Pender health promotion model. The sample size was 50. The samples for the study were selected by convenience sampling technique.
