Rehabilitation Nursing
Abstract
Rehabilitation nursing have a good chances to reverse many crucial and disabling conditions and can help many patients cope with deficits that cannot be even reversed by medical care. Rehabilitation addresses the patient’s physical, psychological and environmental needs and is achieved by restoring the patient’s physical functions and modifying the patient’s physical and social environment. The various types of rehabilitation include physical, occupational and speech therapy. Each rehabilitation program is tailored to the individual patient’s needs. Family members are often actively involved in the patient’s rehabilitation care.
