Vasudev Malhotra

The theory of Lean Thinking has evolved with time. The term lean production was first used to describe the process of minimization of waste in the automotive industry. Lean thinking has a natural starting point with value for the customer looking at the whole rather than the individual processes. In this paper lean supply chain characteristics have discussed.
