Abstract

Multi-factor authentication is an electronic verification method in which a user can access to an application or a website only after successfully completing the various authentication steps. For us Protecting our data and systems from the hackers is our first priority, but the existing text- based authentications does not provideing enough security. The existing systems use extra methods to gain more security, such as OTP (one-time password) through mobile phone or email, or authentication using face images captured by cameras. But expensive high cost hardware equipment is used in these existing methods to achieve more security. This paper proposes a conglomerate authentication system by using less costly equipment. No additional equipment is required for the proposed authentication system. The proposed authentication system uses images as passwords. It is a three- step authentication system, and the steps are as follows., The first step is traditional login method that represents username and password, the second step is choosing a picture and color and the final step is face image captured by camera. The proposed system hasve the ability to preventbeat many different cyber attacks, such as malware attacks, phishing attack, SQL injection attack, and others
