Development of ICT Based Hybrid framework by using Data Mining in Higher Education

Abstract

ICT has a greater impact to its stakeholders in the education sector. Its use and application has brought transformation in the ways of working. There has been previous studies showing the applicability of ICT in variety of endeavours. The rationale behind the study is in particular because of two reasons. Firstly application or use of ICT in higher education has been recent and is still undergoing transformation. Therefore there exist an opportunity to study ICT with respect to various sub dimensions in the higher education sector and In data mining, association rules are useful for analyzing and predicting customer behavior. They play an important part in shopping basket data analysis, product clustering, and catalog design and store layout. Programmers use association rules to build programs capable of machine learning. Machine learning is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that seeks to build programs with the ability to become more efficient without being explicitly programmed.
Secondly such kind of study has not yet been carried over the state of Chhattisgarh which calls for research in this area. These two broad reasons motivated the researcher in choosing the area and topic.
