Abstract

Currently, we have a manual system on streetlight. In the manual system, there is electric power wastage up to some extent level. An integrated smart city infrastructure based on smart technology can offer value-added services for sustainable urbanism. Through a web application, users can create a schedule for turning off the lights at dark (night) to save energy. It has three key meanings: (1) Economic benefit, (2) Social benefit, and (3) Environmental benefit. The Smart Lighting System is a smart street lighting system that overcomes the disadvantages of manual street lighting systems. A controller and a series of sensors make it a smart lighting system. The system uses a variety of sensors, including light sensors, motion sensors, and temperature sensors, to collect data about the environment and adjust the lighting accordingly. The data collected by the sensors is then analyzed by the central management system, which can identify the patterns and make adjustments to optimize energy usage. The system also includes features such as dimming, adaptive lighting, and real-time monitoring to further enhance energy savings and reduce maintenance costs. Additionally, the system can be connected to other smart city technologies, like public safety networks and traffic control systems.
