E-Health Data Privacy Concern and Solution

Abstract


Today, with the emerging healthcare providers leveraging a variety of digital tools, portable devices, and automated processes to improve and provide the patient health and care, data privacy and security have risen as major threats. As a huge quantity of data is transmitted at multiple levels, particularly in the form of Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other health information, patients' personal data remains at risk and must be protected from prying eyes. This paper articulates various facets of E-Health data security, associated challenges and the possible way out.
