A Review on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Wearable Technology for Smart Healthcare

Neeta Nathani, Vijay Kumar Khatri

Abstract

The healthcare industry is no longer an isolated area unaffected by technology advancements. Healthcare is driven by technology more than any other force, and it will continue to evolve in spectacular ways in the future. Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Smart Wearables, and other cutting-edge healthcare technologies have transformed traditional healthcare into smart healthcare. Technology has allowed us to keep a close eye on our health in recent years. Wearable technology has transformed the way we process our biology, from bracelets that track heart rate and steps to personal blood pressure monitors and body fat weighing scales. This paper focuses on smart healthcare technologies, which have given the healthcare business a new dimension of “smartness”. It also discusses how to employ wearable devices to track user lifestyle behaviours and provide tools for better personal health management. We'll also look at some of the most important AI and IoT applications in healthcare. In addition, we look at a number of machine learning methods that can be used to provide effective decision support for healthcare applications.
