Automatic Segregation of Wastes Collected from Beaches Using Programmable Logic Controller
Abstract
The amount of waste being produced is increasing at a faster rate with the growing population rate. It is also raising a crucial issue at the municipal level to utilize waste material that was being dumped anywhere and everywhere as landfill waste. So it is important to have a structure to utilize waste naturally which is not used presently. This paper proposes an idea about the segregation of metallic and non-metallic waste materials in the beach through a movable vehicle by using inductive proximity sensors, which are mounted on the conveyor and programmable logic controller is intended to automate the system.
