DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR KOLOSHI VILLAGE USING EPANET 2.0
Abstract
The main objective of this project is to design the water distribution network of KOLOSHI VILLAGE, MURBAD, THANE, using EPANET software. In order to supply water to the consumers and fulfil the water demand of the village, it is essential to provide the sufficient and uniform quantity of water through the designed network of pipes. And we also have to check whether the water supplied to the consumers is in an equitable pressure or not. The study is carried out based on several public demands, quantities of inflows and out flows of the over-head reservoirs. This project provides the information about various demands, losses, and uses of the water. Water distributions systems use elements such as pipes, pumps, valves and reservoirs to distribute treated water from one or more sources to consumers spread over an area.
