Quantity Surveying Estimation and Rate analysis of mall using Autocad and MS excel

Abstract

With the plan of G+2 shopping mall, Planning, Estimation and Scheduling has become a major concept to considered for smooth execution of construction works. A project turns out to be a liability after a said amount of work is done the main reason being lack of capital. The best way to manage this process is by estimating the quantities in advance as this will help in finding quantity of materials and labors required for the specified job and also help in overall cost generation of the project. Estimation is helpful in devising the amount of capital required for execution of a specific construction work which would assist the contractors/builders to better manage their finances and avoid bankruptcy. AutoCAD is the software for drafting a detailed G+2 Shopping mall plan including plan, section elevation, foundation plan, bar bending detailed plan, etc. All the important estimations like, Excavation, concrete, reinforcement, etc. are performed along with consequential steps in MS excel software.
